Since the Get Up era, they really did wear a lot of fairy-like? kind of angelic? winged outfits. Even in the Get Up album itself, the Powerpuff Girls were front and center, and New Jeans, Cool With You, and ASAP all had that slightly angelic vibe. Each member having her own superpower and all that... And even the season's greetings concept was a "Fairy Association," so it really feels like they were planning to go further in that direction. Of course this is just speculation, but if that's true, it's such a shame ㅠㅠㅠ I really wanted to see it.
