[PC stories/Kpop takes] ITZY NEEDS HYBE

Every time I listen to an ITZY song, the first thing that stands out is how their vocals completely kill whatever potential the track had. If ITZY had HYBE’s production team backing them, they’d objectively be doing better. HYBE actually knows how to deal with idols who have polarizing or mid vocals and still make them sound decent, sometimes even good while fitting the actual song. JYPE does them dirty by trying too hard to keep their tones sounding as close as possible to their natural voices. HYBE’s engineers, on the other hand, have way more experience cleaning up and blending unique vocal tones so they fit the track, and it actually makes a difference. Just look at how Eunchae’s tone sits in any LE SSERAFIM song, or Taehyung’s in a BTS track.

 
If HYBE produced ITZY’s songs, their vocals would sound way cleaner and more balanced, and people wouldn’t notice how much they fall short vocally.
