It feels like there’s no way good feelings can grow between them.

I do feel bad for ILLIT, who followed instructions and ended up becoming the scapegoat, but they also gained something from it, so it is what it is.

It’s just sad that things were going well and then suddenly they were replaced out of nowhere and everything split apart…

A lot of people say “they should’ve just stayed quiet,” but even if NewJeans had stayed quiet, they would’ve just been shelved. Didn’t they say they’d give them an unprovoked 1.5 year break anyway? ^^..

From the beginning, NewJeans knew that Min Heejin hadn’t committed breach of trust and that they were trying to push her out because they didn’t want to grant her the put option, so at first they asked for things to be put back the way they were. But since no one kept listening and Min Heejin kept getting harassed, they said they would leave. Honestly, if they had just thought of themselves as company employees and didn’t care whether Min Heejin left or not, their image probably wouldn’t have taken a hit. But I think it’s brave and admirable that they risked their careers to try to protect her.
