According to investment banking (IB) and real estate sources on the 11th, Jennie purchased a building in Dongbinggo-dong, Yongsan-gu, Seoul for 20 billion won in May of last year and completed the transfer of ownership in December of the same year. Considering that no separate mortgage is registered in the real estate register, it is believed that the purchase was made entirely in cash.

Completed in 1970, the building is located in the northern part of Dongbinggo-dong, a district densely populated with ambassadorial residences. It currently houses the Iraqi Embassy in Korea. Its land area is 595 square meters, its total floor area is 551.08 square meters, and it spans two floors above ground and one basement level. Its price per pyeong is approximately 111 million won.

The Dongbinggo area, which Jennie has identified, is undergoing full-scale development, intertwined with the redevelopment of nearby Hannam New Town and the creation of Yongsan Park. The Hannam 5 District redevelopment project to the south is already underway, and the US military transport base site is considered one of the three major sites to be returned to the US military, along with the UN Command site, which is being developed into a luxury residential complex, and the Camp Kim site, which is also under development.
