Kim Sang-hwa (23), who departed from Cheongju and passed through Gwangju before heading to his hometown of Wando, set off on his way home, wearing a traditional Korean gat (hat), a blue-green durumagi (overcoat), and carrying a bundle.
As Kim, dressed in hanbok and pulling a suitcase, strolled through the waiting room, the hem of his durumagi fluttering, the eyes of those returning home were drawn to him.
Kim, who enjoys cosplay as a hobby, has been wearing hanbok and visiting his hometown every year for the past three years, recalling the hanbok wearing method he learned at a cultural center when he was young.
