However, the official non-prosecution decision for Min Heejin's breach of trust confirms HYBE did promise her the first girl group. The reason LE SSERAFIM was mentioned at the press conference was because of the DPA article, which even led to unauthorized release of NewJeans' trainee footage, fueling the “Min Heejin Omega Theory” that So Sungjin, CEO of SOURCE MUSIC, is NewJeans' dad? After the article surfaced, misinformation spread wildly. Min Heejin's mention of it was unavoidable to exercise her right of rebuttal regarding the article, the first girl group promise, and NewJeans' formation process. She repeatedly stated at the press conference that the group and members were not at fault, and the problem lay with the adults and the company.

Yet, for some inexplicable reason, as soon as NewJeans announced their comeback, they sent those ridiculous trucks.

I've only ever seen truck protests used to target companies, but this is the first time I've seen a truck protest openly mocking another group by name.
