Hwang Hana, a former girlfriend of singer-actor Park Yoochun and granddaughter of the Namyang Dairy founder, denied all charges at her first trial. 

She is accused of encouraging two acquaintances to use methamphetamine and injecting them with the drug in a Seoul apartment in July 2023. After a police search related to a co-conspirator, she fled abroad, reportedly traveling through Thailand and Cambodia before being arrested on a plane in Phnom Penh after saying she would turn herself in. 

Prosecutors also claim she tried to persuade accomplices to give statements favorable to her, though her side denies all allegations, insisting she was only present at the scene.
