Anyone remembers how Heo Chanmi was part of SNSD's debut unit, got evil edited on Produce and suffered so much?

She recently appeared on Miss Trot 4, tore up the semi-finals by ranking #1 and secured her spot in the top 5...

She's been trying so many times and she's finally seeing the light. I'm feeling emotional for her ㅠㅠ

I feel like people get triggered over idols who pursue the trot route and there's a lot of forced hate there, so I was worried for her...

Tomorrow is the finale, so she needs live voting, if anyone can help, please help!!

I went to my grandma’s house and saw Heo Chanmi on that trot program, so I was like, “That Heo Chanmi?” But the adults said they’re not even sure she’s that good, yet Jang Yoon-jung keeps hyping her up like that ㅋㅋㅋㅋ If you look at the article comments about Heo Chanmi on Miss Trot, the reactions there are the complete opposite of the reactions to this post, so I’m kind of wondering what’s going on here

I worked as part of the external directing team during Mix Nine, and the contestant I remember the most was Heo Chanmi… Back then it was a survival show with both men and women, so there were over 100 participants. Filming would last around 20 hours at a time, so the contestants were exhausted and kept dozing off, and part of our job was waking them up in between. But Heo Chanmi never fell asleep and kept reacting actively the whole time. If you look at the edited episodes of Mix Nine, her actual screen time wasn’t that big, but I remember there being a lot of reaction shots of her. Since she got a lot of hate during Produce 101, I didn’t have a great impression of her at first, but in front of the camera she really acted the most professional, and she sang incredibly well. Everyone on our team spoke very positively about Heo Chanmi. I knew she had switched to trot music, but I didn’t realize she was doing so well… Now that she won, I hope all the hardships she went through until now can finally be resolved.
