1. BTS is going to a songwriting camp in the US to work on a full album for the first time in 4 years after all members are discharged from the military

Situation: Jin hasn’t finished his solo tour.

The members didn’t wait for him and started the songwriting camp first.

Jin only joined near the end, about 1–2 weeks before it finished, so in the end he only participated in recording and couldn’t put his name alone on the songwriting/composing credits. Since it’s a group album, some reactions say it’s unfair that the other six BTS members started without waiting for the member who was on a solo tour.

Because this is also related to royalties, fans see it as a sensitive issue, Jin is the only one who wouldn’t receive songwriting royalties.
