[instiz] DON'T YOU GUYS KNOW THAT EXO AND BLACKPINK ALSO FOLLOWED THE "FAMOUS FOR PRETENDING TO BE FAMOUS" STRATEGY?

Interest in EXO rose due to their popularity in China. That was during the 'EXO isn't coming back' era (t/n: during the time EXO didn't comeback for a year after MAMA). After that, they suddenly hit #1 with "Wolf," and everyone thought we were in a prank camera, they achieved massive popularity with "Growl." Later, they combined EXO-M and EXO-K for activities.

BLACKPINK is also a case where they were originally known more by word of mouth among the general public than the core audience due to YG's reputation, but then suddenly skyrocketed in popularity thanks to media hype about their popularity in North America.

I think most people don't know this.

original post: here

1. ㅋㅋㅋ It's because they were ACTUALLY popular
> (OP) But BTS was popular in the US and it's a fact
>> Huh ???
>> More like when they were on the brink of hitting big, they used sajaegi to push them to the top

2. I'm not even a fan of EXO or BLACPINK and this post makes no sense ㅋㅋ

3. I have no interest towards idols, but these are the only 2 groups I actually watched in terms of debut concert

4. Look at you guys trying to distort history again

5. They have BigBang and SNSD as sunbaes who were legendary, of course they'll get attention as hoobaes debuting after them ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ what 'pretending to be famous'?

6. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ ARMY are always trying to grab everyone's hair everyday, looks like you guys are still doing it now!

7. You can bring up anyone and their case won't be as bad as BTS'

8. Do you even know what 'famous for pretending to be famous' mean?

9. But they WERE popular ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

10. Do something about your inferiority complex. Maybe try sajaegi?
