As the comeback concert for the group BTS approaches, the crowd in the Gwanghwamun Square area is nearing 40,000 people.
According to News1 on the 21st, as of 7 p.m. that day, an estimated 36,000 to 38,000 people had gathered near Gwanghwamun and Deoksugung Palace, according to Seoul City. This represents a 20.3% increase from one hour earlier and a 37.6% increase from two hours earlier. Earlier, the crowd near Gwanghwamun was estimated at 24,000 to 26,000 people at 1 p.m. and 26,000 to 28,000 people at 3 p.m.
Consequently, Seoul’s crowd congestion level was raised from “moderate” to “slightly crowded.”
People are gathering not only at Gwanghwamun but also at the plaza in front of City Hall. Crowds are also gathering around the large video screens where the BTS performance can be viewed.
The seating area set up at Gwanghwamun Square has 22,000 seats. Admission to the reserved seats and standing areas in front of the stage began at 3:00 p.m. Admission to the standing areas near City Hall will begin sequentially starting at 5:00 p.m.
It is reported that approximately 15,000 personnel have been mobilized for safety management, including 6,700 police officers, about 3,400 personnel from the fire department, the city government, and local districts, and about 4,800 staff from the event organizers.

1. I bet that in reality, that's not even 30K people...
2. But when you remove the manpower...ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
3. ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
4. But out of the 26,000 people, if you remove the 15,000 workers, isn't that 11,000 people?
5. If Seoul City estimated 40K, then the reality is probably less
6. "Slightly lower", f*ckㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
7. No but, I heard the convenience stores placed a ton of orders... What are they gonna do...
8. They monopolized so much manpower and that's it..?
9. That's including 15,000 police and fire department personnel...
10. Where on earth did that figure of 260,000 come from???
[theqoo] CURRENT CROWD IN FRONT OF THE CITY HALL
They kept the outsiders from entering Gwanghwamun and sent them to City Hall, but then City Hall was already full, so they told them not to come;;

1. Are you posting this just to say there really are a lot of them, or are you being sarcastic?
2. That's plenty of room left
3. It's incredibly empty... Even if I dim the lights and try to cover it up with police officers, it still looks really empty.......
4. Huh? There's so much space left
5. Why can't more people go in? There aren't that many people there
6. I see a lot of people though?
7. Are you being for real or are you trying to mock them...?
8. Yup, that's around 2,000 people
9. Even so, it’s probably only around 2,000 people. It's not as crowded as you'd think
10. There are so many empty spaces though?

100,000
Only 22,000 tickets are actually available, so the remaining 240,000 people, whether locals or foreigners, will just have to go to Gwanghwamun. Yup

1. Just look at the live stream right now, there are already a lot of people gathering, so don't worry;
2. Embarrassing
3. There are 20,000 tickets, so where on earth did 260,000 come from...
4. They made all sorts of fuss so people who wanted to go ended up not going
5. Aigoo... I guess you don't realize that unless you're a fan, you wouldn't really go to an idol concert. It's different from mainstream artists like Psy
6. It looks like that thing they calculated based on the number of visitors to the department store a while back
7. They really thought...? As if, f*ck
8. It's so sad, blaming the authorities...ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
9. Look at them blame the authoritiesㅎㅎㅎ I knew this would happen
10. ? Shifting the blame now? What to do? Wow;;
