BTS held a full-group live broadcast on the 20th to celebrate the release of their fifth studio album, 'ARIRANG.'
While discussing the album, RM expressed his regret, saying, “Everyone’s unique style is reflected in it,” and added, “Jin actually wanted to participate too, if only the tour had ended a little sooner.”
V explained, “We had time to work together, but Jin wasn’t feeling well because he was still on tour,” and RM also confessed, “He went through a lot. It was a shame.”
Jimin added, “Thanks to him keeping the team together, we were able to release the album,” while Jin said, “I’m glad there are so many great songs on it.”
While the members were holding a group “song camp” in the U.S. to work on the new album, Jin, who had been the first to complete his military service and had begun solo activities, was busy with his tour schedule. Since the song camp period overlapped with Jin’s tour, he ultimately could not be credited on 'ARIRANG.'
Some fans poured out reactions such as, “Couldn’t they have postponed the songwriting camp?” “How could they adjust a tour that was already scheduled?” “I don’t find the reason for the schedule overlap convincing,” “It feels like they’re subtly blaming Jin,” “I’ve never seen Seokjin (Jin’s real name) look like that before,” and “That’s too much.”
Additionally, some are voicing complaints that even though Jin joined the group in the U.S. after finishing his tour, the album production had already been completed.

1. There have a number of songs. Do you really think that if they just asked "Hyung, try to write something", that Jin would refuse? They just have no consideration for him since the beginning. It's not like every song had to be written in person either
2. Honestly, isn't he the member who's done the most for the fans, both in terms of content and work, since the group went to the army? I'm not even a fan, but this really pisses me off... Is it right to exclude him just because he didn't participate in the Song Camp?ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹
3. I heard there was only a week's difference between the Jin Tour schedule and the Song Camp, but does it even make sense that they finished all the work in that one week, except for one member? Since there were multiple songs anyway, if they'd just asked each member to write a few lines of lyrics and used only one or two of those lines, I don't think the reaction would have been like this
4. It would piss me off if they give me different tasks, but I feel like the rest of the team worked on the project without me. Why did they schedule it like that????
5. But leaving just one member out is a bitㅜ
6. To be honest, this is indeed absurd..ã…‹ã…‹
7. I can already tell how the team's atmosphere is like
8. Even though they were on tour, couldn't he have participated online? Did they block that option and deliberately exclude him? I just don't get how, in this day and age, not being physically present in the same space means you can't participate
9. I f*cking don't get it... How do you leave a whole member out?
10. Their company is so weird;; There are so many people working on their album but nobody thought that this wouldn't be brought up?? No but, unless they did it on purpose;;
11. They are the epitome of business relationship
12. So Jin was the only one being ostracized? And he's the most likable too
13. How does this make sense?
