Sleep is medicine, but too much sleep can be poison.
According to a report by the Daily Mail last year, it was reported that for people who lack exercise, sleeping more than 9 hours a day is harmful to the body, similar to cigarettes and alcohol.
People who live a sedentary lifestyle without exercising have a four times higher premature death rate compared to those who do not.
A research team led by Melody Ding has analyzed the risks to people who do not exercise for several years. They also warned that if lack of exercise and too much sleep overlap, it can have a greater negative impact on the body.
Researchers cited not only too much sleep and lack of exercise, but also short sleep duration of less than 7 hours a day, as well as alcohol and smoking, as factors that shorten lifespan.

5. So lacking in exercise + sleeping over 9 hours OR sleeping less than 7 hours are both dangerous. I'd rather the former and d*e earlier ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
6. Seriously, isn't that just ridiculous?
Less than 7 hours is too little and bad for you,
more than 9 hours is too much and bad for you,
so apparently you're supposed to get exactly around 8 hours of sleep, d*mn me
