First, YG announced in a caption, "We are preparing a new boy group targeting the fall of 2026." Last year, Yang Hyunsuk revealed that there was a group of male trainees slated for debut, expressing his determination to "continue exploring and analyzing these individuals. We definitely want to launch one group next year." With this announcement, YG is expected to unveil a new boy group for the first time in six years since Treasure.
The outline of the four-member rookie girl group, tentatively named Next Monster, has become clearer. Following Evelli and Chanya, who already showcased their skills through performance and singing videos last year, the group has announced the reveal of two more members.
