Big Hit Entertainment's response to the controversy is also disappointing. When the news first broke, the statement a Big Hit representative gave to iMBC Entertainment was not an apology for the incident, but merely a vague response: "We are aware of the situation, but since the photos were taken by paparazzi, we are requesting that they not be reported on domestically. We are responding with the same stance to all media outlets that have inquired.""
