Try getting hit with a serious crisis in life, when that happens, you won’t even have the mental space to worry about your face or anything else because you’ll be too busy dealing with it.

When the only thing you have to do is study, that’s when you start talking nonsense like that because you’ve got it easy.

Seriously, once the time comes when you have to personally handle everything from food expenses to transportation and phone bills through your own financial activities, your obsession with appearance will naturally disappear

It just means this place is full of mentally ill people who are clueless about the world. Seriously, I wouldn't mind if they were teenagers going through puberty, but seeing people in their 20s suffering from an obsession with their looks means they are living incredibly comfortable lives. They are just complaining out of their privilege
