EVNNE withdrawal: Yoo Seungeon to debut in a 5-member group AND2BLE with Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyuvin, and Han Yujin
Since most of ZEROBASEONE’s core members came from Yuehua Entertainment, there had been high expectations, following IVE and LE SSERAFIM, that a male survival show-derived group would finally achieve major success. However, when it was officially decided that the group would be a 5-member team consisting of four existing ZEROBASEONE members plus only Yoo Seungeon, it drew harsh criticism from netizens.
Looking at the previous success cases of IVE and LE SSERAFIM, both groups were formed by combining well-known members from survival shows with previously undisclosed trainees. AND2BLE was also rumored to be an 8-member group including hidden trainees, but instead, the company chose to form a small group composed only of five members who had appeared on Boys Planet, without adding any new trainees.
The main reason this decision has faced strong backlash is that all members already have about three years of activity experience, making it difficult to view them as a “rookie group.” In effect, it is seen as no different from a unit promotion of ZEROBASEONE. Among netizens, criticisms toward the agency have continued, such as: “Did they disband the original ZEROBASEONE just to add Yoo Seungeon?”, “Did they split things up to create EVNNE, ZEROBASEONE, and now a third group?”, “Because they keep dividing members, EVNNE, ZEROBASEONE, and AND2BLE have all become 5-member groups,” and “Small and mid-sized agencies always come up with bizarre planning ideas.”
"EVNNE withdrawal Yoo Seungeon, debuts in 5-member group AND2BLE with Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyuvin, Han Yujin"
Even before they left ZB1, they blocked all interactions with fans and released articles stating they planned to debut the ex-ZB1 members with more members, so fans were expecting them to debut with undisclosed members.
However, the reaction is extremely negative now that they are debuting as a 5-member group without any undisclosed members.
For the first time in the K-pop scene, a trending hashtag campaign is underway demanding the addition of members, rather than a campaign demanding members leave.
It is also reported that a campaign involving trucks and flower wreaths is planned.

1. At this rate, why not just keep the group's members? This is so ambiguous
2. He already has his own group, why withdraw him to add him here?; I seriously don't get it
3. Why are they adding this guy in seriously..? Just to get more fans?
4. I can understand the fans wanting the undisclosed trainees in. And even if not for ZB1 or that one person, it's still right that they add more undisclosed trainees. Now, the ostracizing of that single guy will be so severe..
5. Wouldn't Yoo Seungeon get bullied by the ZB1 fandom? They ostracize people just because they don't like them, and now you're telling me they should add more undisclosed trainees? It's obvious they'll just complain again if things don't go their way
6. Usually, people will tell you to remove certain members, but here, they're asking them to add more members. Interesting
7. Honestly right now, it's such a mess between the opinions of 'I'm find with Yoo Seungeon,' 'Add more members,' 'I hate this so much'.... From the company's perspective, they're probably adding an ace in the group, but this is just such an ambiguous situation and I feel bad for him. He'll just get hate
8. It's so weird that they're adding one person among all the ex-ZB1 members
9. Looks like they had no members to add to that group to start with. Fans who aren't happy with this should just let it go
10. This is kinda fascinating. Usually, survival fandoms hate it when you add more members, but this is the opposite
