HYBE INDIA’s roadmap has been unveiled. The company plans to discover and nurture promising raw talent through large-scale auditions, debuting a “global girl group” as the first act to expand from India to the world.
On the 31st, HYBE INDIA announced the launch of its girl group audition (HYBE INDIA GIRL GROUP AUDITION) via its official social media channels.
Lee Woo-chang, CEO of HYBE INDIA, stated, “While India has many talented and passionate individuals, there has been a lack of a consistent pathway to the global stage.” He added, “HYBE INDIA has established a systematic T&D (Training & Development) system tailored to the local context. This audition will serve as a starting point for new opportunities for India’s youth.”
The local entertainment industry, as well as major global companies and brands, are paying close attention. Various brands, including Samsung, H&M, Nongshim, and Shoppers Stop, are participating in HYBE India’s girl group audition project. Snapchat and BookMyShow are participating as media and ticketing partners, respectively.
HYBE India was established in June of last year in line with HYBE’s “Multi-home, Multi-genre” strategy, led by Chairman Bang Sihyuk. The company plans to pursue various projects leveraging HYBE’s capabilities across music, platforms, and IP.

1. Indian people are pretty
2. But they will honestly be freaking prettyㅋㅋㅋㅋ
3. Their visuals will be crazy
4. I wonder if they'll really be able to adapt to the Korean system? It's a country that's just as crazy and exhausting as Indonesia, after all
5. Wow, Indian people would be no jokeㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
6. Will they be able to adap?
7. If you step in the wrong place, even Indonesia would pale in comparison. There's a good reason why foreign capital doesn't just waltz into the Bollywood and Indian entertainment industries. The power dynamics and hierarchy within the Indian entertainment industry are far more terrifying and ruthless than the real-life caste system
8. If they find someone like Lara, they will do well
9. I'm looking forward to them. I really wish them success
10. Do you think they can handle it? Even China can't handle it
