First, I wanted to explain to ELF about what happened recently.
Immediately after the accident, I felt so much guilt for the friends who were injured in that situation. I felt like the fans got hurt because of me, and wondered if it was because I got too close to them. I kept wondering if I could have caught them better at the moment they were falling. My thinking process temporarily stopped due to shock and deep regret.
I am not someone whose mind works very fast, so I felt stupid for freezing up for a moment due to the shock. I apologize if that looked bad. Still, I am really grateful that so many ELFs who know me well understood and explained it.
I talked a lot with the injured friends at the hospital, and I don't think I will ever forget how they worried about me even while they were in pain, and how they cried saying they were even more sorry to me.
In my over 20 years of activity since debut, this was the first time I saw such an accident happen right in front of my eyes, so it was really hard on my heart, but I am so, so grateful that they were not seriously hurt...

I was immediately transported to a nearby hospital after the accident for an examination, and it was confirmed that there were no abnormalities in my bones or ligaments, only abrasions. As the injured person, I must say that claims in some malicious media reports that Kim Ryeo-wook ignored and disregarded us are completely untrue. Rather, when I fell and was dizzy and unable to come to my senses, Kim Ryeowook and the staff approached me first and asked if I was injured. Other members also came to check on my condition afterward.
Following the staff, we arrived at the hospital and underwent X-rays to accurately check the extent of the injury. While waiting for the results, Ryeowook and his manager came to the hospital, communicated with doctors, confirmed the treatment plan, and continuously looked after us. Afterward, another member ran to the hospital where we were being treated despite the torrential rain.
I was the last to be discharged from the hospital (one member went to a different hospital in the middle, and I heard that Ryeowook went to that hospital later to check on that friend's condition). The staff, including Ryeowook, who came to visit me, stayed by my side until the very end. Ryeowook guided my friend downstairs so she could find me, and another member even got into the elevator with me and carried my bag.
I do not understand why some unethical media outlets and so-called passersby make groundless speculations and fabricate things that did not happen based on videos taken out of context. I returned to the hotel, saw these false messages, and was truly angry, so I wrote this post with care.
In this spot, I sincerely ask the fans who were at the scene. Please refrain from further distributing videos and photos of the scene if possible. Also, witnesses, please focus on safety at the scene.
