It's the first time ever that Anna Wintour appeared on Vogue's cover

The real-life model for Miranda Priestly, the runway editor played by Meryl Streep in The Devil Wears Prada, is Anna Wintour.

Anna was the editor-in-chief of Vogue USA but recently stepped down (actually, she only stepped down from the editor-in-chief position and was promoted to Vogue Global Director).
