[theqoo] "BLACKPINK JISOO STOLE MY CLOTHES" EXPOSED

A foreign designer has strongly criticized BLACKPINK member Jisoo, claiming that they have not received their outfit back and saying, “Jisoo stole my item.”

Benjamin Bortmans, a designer who leads the Antwerp-based fashion brand JUDASIM, recently posted a video on his social media. He claimed that he had sent clothing to Korea for a Jisoo-related album cover shoot, but some pieces have not been returned for a long time.

Controversy escalated after JUDASIM’s account tagged Jisoo’s social media account and posted a message demanding, “Return my belongings.” he stated, “Jisoo stole my items,” adding, “It has already been six months since I sent various items to her and her Korean team for the album cover work.” He further said, “Six months ago, they kept postponing the work dates and claimed they didn’t know what was going on. I told them, ‘Okay, just postpone it. But please let me know when the items are returned.’” He added, “No one has responded to this day.”

Meanwhile, he said, “These are three very important pieces from the last collection, and they were quite expensive. So I sent invoices and contracts to take legal action, but no one replied.” He added, “I hope someone comes to their senses and returns my items. I don't even want to film anymore. Just return the items. I don't care if they (Jisoo) film with them for that damn album cover or not.”

In a subsequent video uploaded later, Bortmans said, "I want to clarify everything about the Jisoo situation. I never actually attacked Jisoo," adding, "I used Jisoo's name to get a response from anyone on the team. Jisoo's name was in emails related to filming."

Along with this, he stated, "I just wanted to get my things back," and requested that online criticism and comments be stopped.

However, he did not withdraw the complaint. He said, “As young designers, we spend a lot of time on our work,” adding, “It is terrible to not receive a response for six months and not be respected. I will not apologize. The entire team needs to treat people better next time and let them know if there is a problem.”

Regarding the controversy, Jisoo and her agency did not release a separate statement.
