Even when someone tries to break the ice or make small talk,
they just stand there with a blank, bewildered, or vacant expression.
They have the same blank expression even while working.
They act this way even when they've done something wrong.
Their biggest reaction is just an "Oh...."
When someone greets them: - ㅇㅅㅇ... Why are they greeting me?
When someone talks to them: - ㅇㅅㅇ... Why are they talking to me?
When someone says something to them: - ㅇㅅㅇ... Why are they doing this to me? Is the whole world out to get me?
It's not just their gaze; it shows in their mindset and attitude as well
The problem is that they act this way even at work, where they're getting paid
1. They don't realize what they did wrong, or
2. They think, “Everyone makes mistakes sometimes, why are they making such a big deal out of it?” or
3. They think, “I'm working for peanuts, so it's not my problem,” or
4. They think they're being treated unfairly (treating everyone else like villains except themselves)
So they just stare at you with a blank expression...
"I've been in a different field for eight years, but I totally get what you mean... First off, the kids here have zero sense of responsibility overall;; They just have this “whatever, it's no big deal, I might make a mistake” attitude, and while a lot of these little things have piled up, there have also been several major incidents...^^.. They’re just way too complacent in every way... It doesn’t make sense that even now, after three years, I still have to check every single email myself, does it?"
Staff: Doesn't chef-nim do the cleanup at the end of the shift?
but they just did the packaging and didn't clean up afterward...
I didn't ask for general cleaning, okay?
They're trying to leave without organizing the scales and packaging suppliesㅜㅜ"
If I ask for something that's only natural, they give me that “What’s the big deal?” look
Seriously, even if I just say hi, they still look at me like ㅇㅅㅇ....

1. I can kind of relate to that. When someone asks me a question, I sometimes hesitate for a split second, wondering if I really need to answer it, and then my social cues kick in automaticallyㅋ
2. Even the HOT Category has started hating on Gen Zs
3. The whole world is forgetting how to interact socially...;ㅋㅋㅋㅋ
4. In a way, it's actually pretty goodㅋㅋㅋ If I come across a Gen Z like that when I'm job hunting, bosses will definitely hire me
5. It sounds like acquired autism
6. It's not just Gen Z, even older people are acting that way, to the point where you wonder if it’s the influence of Shorts
7. I do feel like at some point, people's social skills have plummetted
8. It;s a shift from the age of individualism to the age of hyper-individualism, so it doesn't really feel like something to be all that surprised about...ㅠㅠ Though acting like that at work is a bit of a problem
9. Seems like this is happening all over the world
10. And their victim complex is so great...
