[enter-talk] BABYMONSTER REALLY SEEMS TO BE UNPOPULAR IN KOREA

Judging by the fact that they've never performed at a college festival...

My guess is that colleges want bands that students are familiar with,
but YG sets its prices based on the group's market value,
so from the college's perspective,
they'd rather not book them for that price.

That's probably why no colleges seem to be booking Baemon

They're definitely the kind of group you’d expect from YG, but concept-wise, everything's already been done by previous generations, so it's boring and cliche. I got tired of Blackpink, too. And they need to lower the proportion of foreign members, it's way too high, honestly. Have you ever seen foreign idols be popular in Korea? Not even once. Of course, things might be different overseas, but they don't feel like K-idols, and foreign idols just don't fit the domestic taste

First of all, I don't even know any song I can sing along to

The songs are so corny, and I don't get why they don't sing in Korean. Even the songs that've become hits or made a comeback are mostly ones with a lot of Korean lyrics, but man, they have absolutely no taste

Who would even listen to lyrics like "Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu, Fri, Sat, Sun"?ㅡㅡ

Since none of their songs have been hits... MEOVV's songs are pretty bad too, but I do remember song's like Ddi Ro Ri
