According to the ICT and entertainment industries on June 24, Galaxy Corporation is currently in discussions with local business partners to establish the robot theme park in Dubai. The venue is being considered as a permanent entertainment destination that combines K-pop performances, Korean content IP, robot performances, and AI-powered fan experiences.
Rather than simply replicating the Seoul robot park overseas, the Dubai project is expected to be developed as a permanent interactive attraction tailored to the Middle East's tourism and entertainment infrastructure. In April, Galaxy Corporation established its Middle East subsidiary, "GalaxyME," in Dubai and began expanding its robotics and advanced media businesses throughout the UAE. Local UAE media previously reported that the company had unveiled plans to create an entertainment landmark in the form of a "robot theme park" by combining K-pop, Korean content, and robotics.
Galaxy Corporation plans to design the park as a space where robots and humans can perform together and interact directly with visitors. Potential attractions include robot idols, virtual idols, and robot performances recreating G-Dragon's choreography. The company also envisions expanding these concepts into theme parks, entertainment parks, and large-scale festivals.
A Galaxy Corporation representative stated, "The robot theme park in Dubai is still under review, and no specific details have been finalized." However, the representative added, "Through the robot theme park, we believe we can pioneer a new entertainment market by utilizing AI and robotics technology."
