The Grammy Awards are introducing their first-ever Asian category at next year's ceremony.
The Best Asian Pop Music Performance award will go to a song featuring the meaningful use of one or more Asian languages from K-Pop, J-Pop, or C-Pop.
Reactions to this:
- Ah... so Asia only exists for Korea, China, and Japan? Okay, okay
- Creating a new category just to prevent Asians from winning on the main awardㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
- Is there a separate category for the UK? What about North America? Europe? It's just rac*sm
- It must be East Asia, not just "Asia."
...and so on. Reactions are extremely cold
