[theqoo] ADOR'S SIDE "ESTABLISHED ENTITY FOR NEWJEANS... EVEN INCLUDED RENTAL FEES FOR MIN HEEJIN'S NEW BOY GROUP"

During its argument that former NewJeans member Danielle had violated her exclusive contract, ADOR also brought up an association (partnership) that the NewJeans members had previously established.

At the third hearing of ADOR's damages lawsuit against Danielle, her family, and former ADOR CEO Min Heejin, held on July 2 at the Seoul Central District Court (Civil Agreement Division 31, Presiding Judge Nam In-soo), ADOR stated:
"NewJeans established an association for the purpose of conducting entertainment management and agency business."

ADOR continued:
"The association's bylaws explicitly state that its purpose is to engage in the same type of entertainment management business covered by the exclusive contract in this case and to distribute the profits earned from that business. Therefore, this directly constitutes a violation of the exclusive contract, as it involves entering into an agreement that is identical or substantially similar to the exclusive contract."

ADOR then listed various expenses paid by the association, stating:

"The venue rental fee for the press conference regarding the termination of the exclusive contract, which was led by Min Heejin (former ADOR CEO and current CEO of Ooak Records), was paid using the association's funds."

The company also alleged:
"The rent for a practice studio, which was leased with the intention of being shared with the boy group that defendant Min Heejin plans to produce, was likewise paid using the association's funds."

Finally, ADOR added:
"The costs of creating the NJZ logo and producing various photoshoots after the members announced their re-debut as NJZ were also paid using the association's funds."

This reflects ADOR's allegations presented in court. The claims are part of ongoing legal proceedings and represent ADOR's position; they have not been established as fact by the court.
