[theqoo] TIBETAN, D**S AFTER SELF-IMMOLATING FOLLOWING INDEPENDENCE SPEECH IN FRONT OF THE UN HEADQUARTERS IN NEW YORK

Reuters reported on the 2nd (local time) that a Tibetan independence activist d**d after setting himself on fire in front of the UN headquarters in New York.

According to "Voice of Tibet," Tibetan independence activist Lobga Rangzen set himself ablaze around 6:30 p.m. that day in front of the UN headquarters, following a speech calling for independence and unity.

The New York Police Department (NYPD) responded to the report and transported Rangzen, who had sustained burns over his entire body, to a hospital, but he ultimately passed away.
