He also openly insulted and looked down on fellow actors, staff members, and directors he worked with.
He disparaged the fans who came to see him, saying, “People who don’t even have money are acting like sasaengs just to get the most bang for their buck.” Even after attending a birthday party organized by his fans, he complained, “I didn’t want to go, but I forced myself to, and I was so exhausted. I wanted to just get up and leave,” insulting the very fans who supported and loved him.
When he was in his early 20s, he told me proudly about how much fun he had going to a red-light district, rolling down the car window, and asking, “How much?”
He would show off his dog Leo on social media, but in real life, he abused the dog by swearing at him and kicking him. Furthermore, after I sent a certified legal notice to his home, he disappeared and left the dog alone at home for three to four days.
He also subjected me to ongoing verbal *b*s* and gaslighting, saying things like, “My mental illness relapsed because of you,” “I want to d**. Let’s d** together,” and “I’m an idiot for ever dating you.”
Even after our relationship ended, I lived with guilt, mistakenly believing that I was responsible for Hong Min-gi’s panic disorder. Because of this, I went to his home several times, knelt down, and apologized to him. However, Hong Min-gi subjected me to severe verbal *b*s* and v**l**c* for approximately 20–30 minutes, including kicking objects around him.
He then let me back into his home, pushed me onto the bed, and said, “I’m sorry for swearing at you earlier. You know I still love you, right?” Despite the fact that we had already broken up, he then attempted to sleep with me and repeatedly touched my body.
It was not until three weeks after the breakup, at the end of July, that I realized what I had experienced was not love, but unequivocally *b*s* and *xpl**t*t**n. Because of the fear I experienced, I suffered from cold sweats and trembling hands and feet, and I could not sleep peacefully or carry on with my daily life for even a single day. Eventually, I told my parents everything and proceeded with legal action by sending a certified legal notice.
There is still so much more I want to say. However, I am an ordinary college student. I never wanted this incident to become gossip or turn into a news story. I am posting this because I hope that Hong Min-gi, who apparently does not even realize what he has done wrong, will reflect on his actions and, before being an actor, acknowledge his wrongdoing as a human being and sincerely apologize to me.
