[instiz] IT DOESN'T MATTER IF YOU DON'T MAKE ANY FRIENDS IN UNIVERSITY/COLLEGE RIGHT?

I’m not the type to strike up conversations first, and I hate crowds, so I skipped things like the club activities and the department welcome party, and now I have zero friends

original post: here

1. It’s not strictly necessary, but there’s no harm in making friends with a senior from college, they might even recommend you for a job later on

2. But there are advantages to having friends. So you can go to someone if you have something to ask

3. If you're not someone who feels lonely easily, it's not that bad

4. Yeah, I never made a single friend and I'm graduating this year

5. Unless your major follows a strict curriculum all the way to graduation, course schedules tend to diverge by your junior year, so it’s definitely good to have someone to eat with. Plus, they can share past exam papers and info on extracurricular activities

6. Still, don't close yourself off to the possibilities too much; after all, friendships can form naturally, and you might even find yourself getting help in unexpected situations

7. It's not a must, but it's nice to have a few around

8. You can start making some right no w

9. It's nice to have a few, but if you have none, it doesn't really matter either. It does depend on your department though

10. It’ll all fall into place later, so don’t worry. Of course, going it alone isn’t a big problem either
