[Nate] CHUU, ENDS UP APOLOGIZING OVER OUTFIT FOR HER FIRST WEDDING PERFORMANCE, "MY MOM HELD HER HEAD... IT WAS MY FAVORITE JACKET"

Singer Chuu apologized for the outfit she wore while performing her first-ever congratulatory wedding song.

On September 27, the YouTube channel Jichyeochuu uploaded a video titled “Introducing My New Family Member.”

During the video, Chuu recalled performing at a staff member’s wedding and addressed the outfit that had caused a stir.

“I went wearing my own clothes, but apparently I was supposed to get an outfit from the stylists and wear that,” she explained. “It was my first time attending a wedding as an adult, so I didn’t know what I was supposed to wear. I was told you’re supposed to dress in something that feels like a suit.”

However, Chuu said she didn’t have anything suitable at home.

“All I had at home were colorful clothes, so I picked a pink jacket. My mom told me I should wear neat pants, so I chose jeans and put on sneakers. By my standards, I thought I looked really neat and pretty because I had put together an outfit with my favorite jacket.”

But her mother apparently had a different reaction.

“My mom sighed as soon as she saw me, so I felt bad about it,” Chuu said, apologizing and making everyone laugh.

She then protested, “I wore my favorite jacket! I wore it for the first time that day and haven’t worn it since,” expressing her lingering frustration over the outfit.
