Danielle from the group NewJeans shared an update on her time in Australia.

On the 3rd, Danielle posted a video titled "Detour" on her personal YouTube channel.

In the video, Danielle appeared before the camera dressed in casual attire. She greeted viewers with a bright smile and revealed that she was currently staying in Australia.

"I’m by the lakeside right now. As you can see, I’m in Australia," Danielle said. "It feels a bit awkward being here alone, but I’m just going to go with the flow."

She also opened up about missing her hometown. "I missed my hometown so, so much, the nature, the ocean, and, of course, my family," she said.

"That’s why the first thing I decided to do was spend precious time with my family back home," she explained.

Danielle’s hometown is Newcastle, Australia. Sharing details about her trip, she said, "I’ve already done so much since arriving. I visited the city center, went to the beach, swam, and enjoyed plenty of home-cooked meals with my family, it’s been a happy time."

The end of the video features Danielle spending time amidst the everyday scenery of Australia, at beaches, parks, and on the streets. Her natural, relaxed demeanor stood in contrast to her glamorous stage persona.

Danielle also expressed her anticipation for the journey ahead, stating, "I’m about to embark on a new adventure of my own. I’m really looking forward to it."

She added, "I don’t know what will happen next or where I’ll end up. But there is one thing I know for sure: I am setting off on the first solo trip of my life."

Danielle is currently engaged in a legal dispute with her former agency, ADOR. Since receiving notice of the termination of her exclusive contract from ADOR, she has been communicating with fans through her personal social media channels and YouTube.
