However, Macklemore shouted "Free Palestine" during his performance
He passionately performed "Hind's Hall," a song that references the Gaza Strip and the West Bank and criticizes Israel's military actions
(He also reportedly made it clear that he loves his Jewish brothers and sisters, and that criticizing Israel is not the same as criticizing Jewish people)
In response, the Israeli-American Council (IAC) demanded that Ed Sheeran drop Macklemore from the remainder of his tour, arguing that the concert was not a political rally
Macklemore clarified that his remarks were not an attack on Jewish people but a message advocating for human rights and peace
Ed Sheeran has not issued an official statement
But then, out of nowhere, Pink got involved...?
She shared a post on her Instagram a post from an Israeli group that essentially said, "Let's protest against Ed Sheeran, demand ticket refunds, and force Macklemore to issue an official apology!"
The post also claimed that the massacre in Gaza was entirely fake and urged people not to be swayed by propaganda
It seems she was sharing videos by influencers promoting Zionist propaganda a few years back too
