I kept seeing posts on my feed from fellow fans spreading misinformation about aespa's performance,

so I decided to write this in the hope of setting the record straight.
"aespa's North American Tour: Even at a 'Bargain' $49, Seats Remain Unsold... Stark Contrast in Popularity with KATSEYE Becomes Apparent"

"Meanwhile, for aespa’s concert on October 3 at the Intuit Dome in LA (estimated capacity of approximately 14,000 seats), 689 tickets (4.9%) remained unsold, with the lowest ticket price starting at $92. In contrast, the concerts by KATSEYE scheduled for November 21 and 22 at LA’s Crypto.com Arena (estimated capacity of approximately 15,000 seats) are on the verge of selling out, with only 122 tickets (0.8%) and 130 tickets (0.9%) remaining for the first and second days, respectively. The lowest ticket prices for these shows were $510 and $506, more than five times the starting price of aespa’s tickets."

If you actually look at the article, there are only about 700 seats left out of 14,000, and most shows in other regions also have a remaining seat rate of less than 10%.

By these standards, the North American tour is quite large in scale, and ticket sales have been strong.
Besides, promotional tickets are common for North American concerts anyway.

As for the ticket prices...

The $49 figure was just the lowest price for the cheapest section; prices vary depending on the seat or sales conditions.

You should really be criticizing shows that sell tickets at exorbitant prices, this is the first time I’ve ever seen someone complain about them being cheap...





And then there are the photos from the Brazil concert circulating online, the ones people are calling the "empty-seat concert."

If you look at the accounts bashing them, they’re almost all fans from that specific agency... Ugh.

(Seriously, both the fans and the company are obsessed with aespa. F*ck, just spend your time supporting your own idols instead.)

First of all, it was a weekday performance, and there was torrential rain that day.

On top of that, there were concerts by famous singers taking place on the same day, creating conditions that made it relatively difficult to sell a large number of tickets.

But contrary to the photos circulating online, the audience seats are actually quite full

"aespa's concert in Brazil was mocked and criticized by other fandoms because it supposedly hadn't sold out, but the actual attendance turned out to be 21,652. I've long known there was a narrative trying to push the idea that aespa wasn't popular in North or South America,
but thanks to the recent overseas tour, it turns out they’re actually doing really well abroad,
which just goes to show how exaggerated the hate against them was all along ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

It drew large crowds and is currently touring North America and Europe following Asia.

If you watch the video, all they’re doing is getting into position to take a photo together, I don’t get what part of it is supposed to be r*c*st.

1. They’re trying to flip the narrative on Threads, claiming the Brazilian stands were empty, but it’s way too obvious

2. I honestly don't get why people bash or mock concerts, whether they're discounted or just large-scale, unless it's this specific agency. It’s funny how the same people who constantly complain about high ticket prices turn into gatekeepers. The i-roaches of this agency are always picking fights with other fandoms, too, spreading made-up nonsense about other idols having "empty-seat concerts" and all that crapㅋㅋㅋㅋ

3. It’s so f*cking exhausting. They tormented male idols to death, and now they’ve started acting like trolls toward female idols tooㅋㅋㅋ It seems like that group and their international fans have teamed up and spend all their time thinking of ways to harass other idols

They seriously play a huge part in spreading rumors about other idols, so it’s funny how they only get upset when aespa is on the receiving end... Honestly, looking at the people bashing aespa over that Brazil concert, it’s not just HYBE fans,  there are tons of JYP group fans involved, too. It just feels like international fans who’ve been holding onto grudges are finally venting their frustrations
