Amidst a controversy regarding unpaid wages involving the mother of Aijing (13), a member of the group A2O LITE, launched by Lee Sooman, the mother has acknowledged her responsibility and issued an apology.
On the 14th, Aijing’s mother posted a statement on Weibo, saying, "I sincerely apologize for causing concern due to recent events involving me."
She stated, "Regardless of the circumstances, failing to make required payments on time is a mistake that I must face and take responsibility for. I deeply apologize to everyone who has been harmed by this."
She added, "I am contacting the affected individuals one by one to discuss solutions," and pledged, "I will not evade responsibility and will see the matter through to the end until all issues are resolved."
However, she pleaded that her daughter, Aijing, not be held responsible. Her mother emphasized, "The responsibility for this incident is a matter for the parents to resolve," adding, "My child has absolutely no connection to the business I previously ran or the related disputes."
Aijing’s parents had operated an education company in China called Beijing Sophis Education Technology Co., Ltd., but the business reportedly fell into financial distress, leading to unpaid wages for employees. The company has since ceased operations.
According to the employees, the company began failing to pay wages in 2024, even after the parents agreed to an installment repayment plan, payments fell into arrears again after just three months.

6. Phewã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ I guess the victim should consider this a stroke of luck at least?
7. They were trying to skip out on the debt, but now that the kid has debuted and it's hit the news, suddenly they're claiming they'll take full responsibility
8. The parents will handle their own affairs. I don't know who's behind this, but it's so obvious this is a hit piece meant to undermine them
9. Exactly... The money the kid is going to earn in the future looks bigger to them. That's probably why they'll pay it back quickly now that the controversy has surfaced right after the debut.
10. The actions of parents shouldn't cause harm to their children. I hope they pay the overdue wages quickly
