"How would fans react if K-pop went global?"

"Actually, I like that there are fans but, it means that the target will probably overlook me"

"Actually, I like that there are fans but, it means that the target will probably overlook me"

"I feel like my heart will grow distant"
"So it's not that great"

"I released a K-pop video this time, and the kind of sentiment that related to my post the more were like this"

"What I like are Bangtan Sonyeondan, not BTS"
"They like BTS because of their songs and their individuality"

"The members have that friendly/approachable charm to them. This is why they do so well overseas"

"But now, they've been releasing more and more English songs, and it makes me realize "They're really world-class now...""

"But it's not what I liked about them"
"Exactly, it's nice that they're growing but"

"They're so big, they feel unreachable now. so it's possible to feel a bit of spite too"

"For tours and concerts they perform domestically, I'd rather them go tour in more suburban areas too"

"Seeing them tour all around the world kinda makes us feel excluded"

"I wish they'd take more care of domestic fans. The fans now call them "visiting artists""

"And we say things like "I wish they can visit domestically""
"Because they're always overseas.."

1. That's why I quit the fandom
2. They can't maintain their group color once they go global. And they're all about releasing English songs too. I hope they can just call themselves pop singers instead of K-pop
3. That kind of phase comes around a few times, and there’s plenty of turnover. You can’t satisfy everyone’s needs, and since the choice is ultimately up to the individual, people just have to handle it themselves
4. I’m not an ARMY, but I am a fan of a big company idol group, and it’s honestly such a shame that there’s so much English in the lyrics now that they’ve gone global. I really wish they’d go back to the old style ㅜㅜ Plus, the fandom has grown so much that getting concert tickets has become a nightmare, attending every show used to be the norm, but now I’m lucky if I can make it to even one, and there have even been shows I missed entirelyㅜㅜ
5. It’s all well and good that BTS has boosted the nation's prestige, but personally, I lost interest in their activities after "Butter" and stopped listening to their music. I wasn't a fan to begin with, so if you were to ask, "Why do you care?" I wouldn't have an answer to that
6. Once you start releasing English songs, you completely lose the group's color
7. You won't be able to go far domestically the moment you go global.... It's true that we just grow distant... And the new direction doesn't suit our taste, so we just end up quitting the fandom ã… ã…
8. I can understand doing overseas promotions or variety shows for the sake of the group's longevity and other reasons, but I really wish they’d increase the amount of Korean in their lyrics... and that goes for all K-pop idols these days, not just BTS ã… ã…
9. Their international schedules are also freaking boring, they don't fit my taste anymore, so I just grow distant and quit the fandom
10. I like that they're entering the global market, but once you release English songs, I just quit the fandom
11. Me too I hate it when they start releasing English songs. The uniqueness of K-pop is that we can sing in Korean
12. I couldn't even tell that BTS came back this time. It's nice that they're popular, but they're getting so boring with the lack of domestic promotions
13. Me too, I stopped listening to BTS the moment they went global, they just look like international singers to me now... They have no real domestic comeback
14. I only liked BTS until DNA
15. I don't think this only applies to BTS, but to all big agency idols
