Buying a Car

Reason:
Young people are flocking to Seoul, but you don't really need a car there.
In fact, the number of people getting driver's licenses is reportedly on the decline.

original post: here

1. I have neither the money to buy a car nor the land to store it

2. I live in a major metropolitan city outside of Seoul, and having a car here is definitely better. I probably wouldn't need one if I lived in Seoul, but I bought one for my commute

3. That's right, even if you don't buy a car, you should get your license. You never know what might happen, and getting it later takes more time and money than you'd expect

4. You still should get a license

5. Should we start by asking the question: Do you have money?

6. We don't have money

7. It's because we don't have money. If we did, we would all buy cars right away. Money is what permits us to do it

8. I live in Busan, but you don't need a car here. In fact, having one is a nightmare

9. Saying things like "I don't need it because I'm in Seoul" are all just excuses. You can't buy it because you have no money

10. I didn't really need a car, but I decided to get my license before I got any older and ended up buying one. Sure, having a car improved my quality of life in ways I hadn't expected, but it actually made me move houses, too... Parking is a huge source of stress
