[theqoo] TXT, UPDATE ON LEGAL PROCEEDINGS AGAINST VIOLATION OF ARTISTS RIGHTS

Hello.
This is BIGHIT MUSIC.

We have recently identified the indiscriminate spread of false information and malicious rumors targeting our artist across social media platforms and online communities, and we have been taking appropriate internal measures in response.

Until now, we refrained from issuing announcements or comments to prevent false rumors from being unnecessarily amplified by official statements. However, as these malicious attacks have reached a critical level ahead of the artist's comeback, we are taking additional steps to protect the artist’s rights and well-being.

Posting and spreading malicious content is a criminal act that gravely violates the artist's rights and damages their reputation. We are collecting evidence across domestic and international platforms, and we reiterate that we will take firm legal action against those responsible, with no settlement or leniency. Given how seriously our artist’s personal rights have been violated, we are acting decisively against malicious posts on all platforms, including social media and online communities.

We ask fans to help stop the spread of reckless rumors, false information, and illegal posts by reporting them. If you come across any malicious activity targeting our artist, please report it through the “HYBE Artist Rights Violation Report System (https://protect.hybecorp.com).”

BIGHIT MUSIC will keep a zero-tolerance policy toward any unlawful act that infringes upon our artists' rights and interests. We remain fully committed to protecting our artists and to preventing any recurrence of similar harm.

Thank you.

1. I don't know if they think they can get away with it because they have foreign fans, but this keeps popping up on Twitter... It's truly malicious. They really need to be sued, and the outcomes. including their punishments. should be made public. It's just so spiteful

2. This was all because of i-roaches

3. I wonder if they'll be able to sue Chinese people?

4. Even though I'm a fan of a different group, this really weighs on me and makes me so uneasy. I'm genuinely worried about the artist, even though they aren’t even my own bias... I just really hope that everyone who creates or spreads these rumors gets hit with some serious legal consequences, please! 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

5. They need to be hit with a strong punishment in order to understand

6. Seeing the extent to which Chinese people were spreading false rumors on social media was truly repulsive

7. I'm not sure what's happening but I welcome this lawsuit. Seeing the comments, it looks like it has to do with DFs. I hope they get punished heavily. This is disgusting

8. Anyway, the ones persistently stalking and threatening K-pop idols are all Chinese, and they spread rumors using AI manipulation, not to mention spreading false information through surreptitious filming or hacking. When I see them doing these things, their national character is even more disgusting than Japan's. Their toxic fan culture is deep-seated, and while it is difficult to punish them because they are foreigners, they speak Korean well and are easily accessible, so they exert a f*cking big influence

9. Don't even bother looking for it, it's not even real, and it amounts to secondary attack, which is a crime. Just know that some international fans used DF AI to pull this disgusting stunt. That's all you need to know. Even though it doesn't involve my own idol, these people are absolute lunatics, so I reported every single instance

10. I saw so many DFs of them on my Recommended tab. I really hope they all get sued
