[theqoo] WHAT DO LONG-TIME SM FANS THINK WHEN THEY SEE LEE SOOMAN'S NEW GROUPS?

For the record, I remained an SM fan even after Lee Sooman left. But I definitely got the feeling that groups created under Lee Sooman are just different. Please, only long-time SM fans answer this, no comments from people who've only been fans for 2 or 3 years

4. He did well with the girl group but not sure about the boy group

6. I like them so much. This is literally the SM I knew

7. I'm surprised because I can't see anyone with the "Lee Sooman's first love (T/N: Jaejoong)"-kind fo faceㅋㅋㅋ

10. I really loved aespa's Next Level/Savage era sound, so I'm so bummed that the team behind it left. Honestly, after he left, that signature "Neo" vibe faded. Aside from the massive success of the "Supernova" run (which felt more like the Bang Sihyuk style), songs like "Rich Man," "Dirty Work," and "Lemonade" all fell short of expectations. When I listened to songs by A2O Lite, while they're talented, too, I couldn't help but think, "This would have been absolutely insane with aespa's vocals," and it was just so disappointingㅠㅠㅠ

I'm also really curious about how H2H would have turned out, how they would have debuted and what the song would have sounded like under the Lee Sooman system.

I really wanted to see an SMTOWN 2026 concert, too... the group albums have had so many bops...
