Singer and actress Nana has appealed for respect for her private life in response to malicious reactions surrounding her public relationship with TOP, asking, "Have I committed some grave wrongdoing?"
On the 5th, Nana posted a lengthy message on her social media, addressing those who claim to be her fans but have been writing intentionally malicious comments, disregarding her personal choices and freedom, following her decision to go public with her relationship.
"I have tried to understand everything you’ve said and done, but I simply cannot," she wrote. "What great wrong have I committed? Have you suffered any harm because of me? Have I caused any moral controversy?"
She further emphasized, "To be precise, the matter of my romantic relationship, and the process leading up to acknowledging it, is a private, personal affair; it is my own life. I do not believe this is something for which I should have to apologize."
Nana also made a plea, stating, "Please do not cause hurt to the fans who love and respect me as a human being, beyond the confines of my identity as a celebrity. Please, stop causing any further harm." She added, "I am sincerely sorry to the fans who have been quietly enduring and bearing with this situation."
