There are probably things that foreigners like. Can they try to conform with them? I just wanna know why. I'm just curious as to why they are less successful
1. Their unmarried-man(?) image
2. The company doesn't push them
3. Factory-idol vibes
I guess you can summarize the reasons this way..
original post: here
1. But even in YG, aside from BP, they are all just meh
> But Treasure is a lot more popular overseas than in Korea no?
2. Personally, I think that they just feel too much like losers
> I also like SM but they just don't match the market overseas
3. ? Overseas? Isn't SM the most successful? I just think that SM isn't really focusing on targeting the foreign market right now but if they get some results overseas, they would have to push their groups more. I just feel like they wouldn't do things half-assed
4. Are we talking about this again?
5. But looking at SM, I think that they are pretty popular overseas though. They aren't touring overseas for nothing
6. I don't know about other countries but doesn't SM have a strong hold of China?..
> And isn't Karina the #1 in terms of bulk buys? Apparently, the ranking changes all the time so did it change?
7. People are back at it again bringing the company as a way to hate on their idols
8. SM was the one who ruined it when Shinee and 127 had good reactions overseas
9. SM is just f*cking bad at persisting in anything they doã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ when they get some sort of reactions overseas, they should be pushing their artists more but they just ignore it. It's not because their idols feel factory-made. Personally, I think that all their groups have their distinct colors whether it's their songs or way of singing
10. It's not that they are not popular overseas but it's that when they get some sort of reaction, they should react quickly. SM freaking likes China and Japan so they never sent their artists in the U.S. or in Europe... they are the ones blocking the way for their artists to hit daebak
