Hyeri, a singer and actress formerly of the group Girl's Day, is reported to own two buildings in the upscale neighborhoods of Samseong-dong and Yeoksam-dong in Gangnam, Seoul. The purchase prices totaled approximately 12.1 billion won (~8.9M USD), and she is expected to make a capital gain of at least 6 billion won (~ 4.4M USD).

According to News1 on the 1st, Hyeri bought an old multi-family house in Samseong-dong in August 2022 for 7.75 billion won under a family corporation’s name. She demolished the existing structure and built a new one with two basement floors and six floors above ground. Including additional costs of 450 million won for transaction-related fees and 2.5 billion won for new construction, the total investment is estimated at 10.7 billion won.

Kim Kyung-hyun, a representative at Building Road Real Estate, stated that the new building in Samseong-dong is currently looking for a full-lease tenant with a deposit of 400 million won and monthly rent of 30 million won. If sold, the building is expected to bring in over 3 billion won in profit within three years.

In addition to the Samseong-dong property, Hyeri also owns a building in Yeoksam-dong, which she purchased in December 2020 for 4.39 billion won under a corporation she established. This building was also demolished and newly constructed. Its current market value is estimated to exceed 10 billion won, and if sold, it is also expected to yield a profit of more than 3 billion won.
