In Korea, if you go for s*x appeal, it's just seen as provocative

In the U.S., you need that to become a star

I think that's one of the reasons K-pop remains relatively niche in the U.S.

People may disagree, but I actually think Bangtan did manage to succeed to some extent with s*x appeal too
