I’m single and almost 40.
Thankfully, I have a job. But I hardly have any relationships I’d call true friendships. I don’t have a boyfriend, either.
People around me say things like:
“It’s hard to get married once you hit 40.”
“Changing jobs or finding a new one becomes really difficult.”
Even making new friends feels intimidating.
And reaching out to people I’ve grown distant from feels awkward too…
So… is there really nothing good about turning 40?
We can’t stay young forever, right?
Is there anything good about being single in your 40s?

The good things about being in your 40s are probably something you won't know until you're in your 50s

Whether it's your 30s or your 40s, it'll all fly by. What's the point of fixating on good or bad points? Just live your life like you want to

You're free. And at peace.

There's nothing good. There's nothing particularly bad either... Does it have to be good? Why does life have to be only good.. You'll live through goods and bads all your life.. Embrace them.
