Dex, who debuted as an actor, shared his thoughts on acting.

The guests on the show were actor Dex and Won Jin-ah, who talked about the ENA drama “The Defects.”

Dex, who is trying acting for the first time with “The Defects,” has recently received a lot of attention.

Won Jin-ah said, "Dex is really pure. After all the readings, he asked me, ‘Noona, was this role really that important?’ Since it was his first time acting, he thought it was a small role and that he just had to do what he could. He had no greed. He came ready to take things step by step, but after realizing how important the role was, his passion for acting on set became amazing."

When asked if he had learned acting, Dex said, "Actually, I haven’t. I thought about what I could do to make up for it and felt I needed to be proactive on set no matter what. I’m grateful there were a lot of action scenes."

Dex said he chose the role because it had many action scenes: "The biggest reason I chose this work was because there were no lines. I didn’t want my weaknesses to show. What I’m good at is using my body, but since I’m still lacking as an actor, that’s why I chose it. I didn’t want to be a burden. Jung Hyun is a quiet character who does as he’s told, so I thought I could show a good side."

Shin Dong-yeop said, "There will be an acting style that reveals Dex’s unique charm. Something untainted and untypical, right?"

Won Jin-ah responded, "Dex seems like a person born with talent. When he says, ‘Noona, I’ll go easy on you’ and starts filming, he really throws himself into it."

She added, "Dex’s eyes really changed. He seems to have a natural flair. Since he kept filming with senior actress Yum Jung-ah for the first time, I think he learned a lot by watching her closely. I was envious."

Dex shared his thoughts on acting with Yum Jung-ah: "What I realized while acting was that even if I’m not good at acting, when I act with someone skilled, I get a bit better too."
