"Hello, I’m approaching this very cautiously… I’m an acquaintance of Sanghyeon.

There are currently a lot of posts accusing him of ab*se for walking his cat without a harness, and it’s honestly been really upsetting to see. After much thought, I decided to write this.

A friend who used to be a trainee with us a long time ago contacted me yesterday for the first time in years and asked what Sanghyeon’s cat’s name was. I didn’t think much of it and told them the name. We just exchanged a few short messages, that was it.

But without asking, they took all the profile pictures and uploaded only the ones where Sanghyeon is holding the cat, while leaving out the ones where the cat is in a stroller or wearing a harness.

Sanghyeon has now deleted all the photos from his profile picture, ㅠㅠ. He really, really cherishes B (his cat). But to accuse him of something like animal abuse... it’s just heartbreaking. I wanted to share this because seeing those kinds of posts has been very upsetting."

1. No but you don't even need to walk your cat, this is so unnecessary 

2. But there’s clearly not even a leash attached to the harness, that’s just a vest at that point. What is he even doing? ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

3. Walking your cat pretty much means you don't care about it because you can lose your cat at any moment 

4. The overreaction is daebak, how is this considered ab*se?

5. It takes one moment to lose your cat like that, it's still until an unpredicted loud noise hits and it can just run away 

6. What the? People are still shielding him. People going overboard shieling him, are you guys doing all that just for a trainee??

But the funny thing is, why are people who clearly know nothing about cats trying so hard to defend this? ㅋㅋㅋㅋ  Even if a cat has been walking outside without any issues its whole life, all it takes is one sudden noise to startle it, and then it’s accidentally lost. That’s how so many end up abandoned. The reason people say 'don’t do it' is because there’s always that possibility of abandonment. So what exactly is there to defend so strongly?

9. I don't own a cat, so I don't know but I've seen countless Reels of people walking their cats like that 

10. I was wondering who this was and looking him up, I realize he's one of the top voted trainees...
