As a young woman who is not yet 21, Jang Wonyoung has consistently served as a role model for countless girls with her self-assurance, confidence, and healthy image.

However, at today’s ceremonial first pitch event, the outfit Starship dressed her in sparked intense outrage among fans.

The outfit was excessively tight and overly revealing, severely restricting Wonyoung’s natural movement during the event.
Despite the event being based on a sports concept, while other members wore comfortable and loose-fitting clothes, only Jang Wonyoung was dressed in a tight, short outfit with a deep neckline, disregarding not only her comfort but also the overall harmony with the event’s theme.

The true purpose of stage outfits should be to help artists perform more comfortably and confidently.
Outfits should never restrict an idol’s movement or be reduced to mere tools for marketing.
Even more so, they should never be used as an excuse by the agency to sacrifice Wonyoung’s comfort for the sake of media attention.

Over the past seven years, Jang Wonyoung has built her image of confidence, self-discipline, self-love, and professionalism through her own efforts.
