[theqoo] JAPAN) I DON'T WANT TO WEAR A WEDDING DRESS THAN AN AV ACTRESS WORE VS THAT'S DISCRIMINATION

Rough summary:

Someone ordered a wedding dress to wear for their after-party.
It was made by a certain studio, and they were really looking forward to it.

So here’s the situation:

Someone had ordered a wedding dress to wear for their wedding after-party.
It was from a particular studio, and they were really looking forward to it.

But then...
An AV actress wore the exact same dress for an event.

The person then tweeted something like:
"I don’t want to wear the same wedding dress that an AV actress wore ㅠ I was so excited, but now this? ㅠ"

--

In Japan, reactions are divided:

On one side:
“I wouldn’t wear it either.”
“It’s understandable to be upset, since white wedding dresses symbolize ‘purity’ and it feels contradictory for an AV actress to wear one.”
“Let’s file a complaint. Who would’ve thought they’d lend it to an AV actress? Other brides would also be angry if this happened to them.”
“It’s not the actress’s fault, it’s the studio that lent it out, so they should be held responsible.”
“Now any bride who wears that dress will be associated with an AV actress, so of course she’s upset.”

VS
“This is discrimination based on occupation.” (This was the most common opinion.)
“As a man, I really don’t see what the issue is.”
“What’s wrong with lending it out? We live in a society where anything can be rented if you pay. For all we know, other wedding dresses might’ve been worn by s** offenders.”
“The AV actress just wore it for an event, why so much fuss?”

1. I would freaking hate this...

2. I hate this..

3. I would hate this. Imagine wearing a pros*****'s pick

4. Ewwww I'd feel so disgusting

5. Even if that's not a "pros****" I'd still freaking hate it

6. If she wore it for a private event, it'd be something else, but she's wearing it for an event. Of course I'd hate it

7. I freaking hate it. How are people trying to convince me this is discrimination by occupation? ㅋㅋ Ugh

8. I freaking hate it. What's discriminatory about it? You only get married once. Why would you want to wear that?

9. I'd f*cking hate it. I also hate the fact that they're even called "actress"

10. Do they not know why a wedding dress is called wedding dress? They need to learn the meaning of it
