JYP Entertainment (hereafter JYP) has issued a second apology following the controversy over excessive personal identification checks at the DAY6 fan meeting.
On the 23rd, JYP posted a refund notice on DAY6’s official account. The agency stated, “We sincerely apologize to the audience members who were affected by the excessive ID verification process at the event entrance. We are providing refund procedures for those who were impacted,” adding that attendees who were denied entry due to the on-site ID policy and those with unused tickets that were not scanned will be eligible for full refunds after system verification.
JYP further stated, “We once again deeply apologize for the inconvenience and distress caused to the fans due to the operational policies of this event. We recognize the seriousness of the matter and its problems, and we will do our best to show improvement and ensure this does not happen again.”
