Honestly, I don't understand the purpose of kpop shipper. Like, in the end, our idols will choose their own girlfriend/boyfriend, not the fans who will pick up for them. Nowadays, we see many aggressive shippers who will fight with other shipper when both of their ships are unconfirmed, not even have dating rumor or rumored dating other people. and moreover, their ideal type don't match each other.
The shipper will crazily ship idols who did interaction on screen, on variety show, on tiktok dance challenge or attending concert, when we've been knew Korean fans would criticize idols if they make the relationship more obvious since k-fans originally protect the secrets.
That's why idol x idol couple that confirmed like Jennie Kai, Daniel Jihyo had no interaction before and after dating news revealed. Even the confirmed / ex couple still being careful and avoiding attending concert of their gf/bf/ex. I don't know what's fun about shipping.
There are times when shipping lead idol to get the fake dating rumor that ridiculed by Korean netizen, especially shipper from Indonesia. Actually, the fans still can enjoy watching idols interaction without shipping them. So why ship idols?
