The third hearing date for the lawsuit filed by former ADOR employee A against former CEO Min Heejin, seeking damages in the amount of approximately 100 million won, has been rescheduled.
According to TV Daily's coverage on the 25th, the 21st Civil Division of the Seoul Western District Court has postponed the third hearing, which was originally scheduled for this afternoon (August 25), to October 13. It is reported that Min Heejin’s legal team submitted a request to change the date on August 11.
This lawsuit began in August 2024 when A filed a claim against Min Heejin for defamation and damages, alleging she spread false information. A claims that during his time at ADOR, he was SH-ed by then-deputy CEO B, and that Min covered up or condoned the incident. Min's side has firmly denied the allegations, maintaining that they are baseless, and the legal dispute has continued to intensify.
A mediation attempt in January previously failed, and the first and second hearings in March and May respectively showed no signs of compromise between the two parties. The third hearing was expected to involve the submission of additional evidence and rebuttals, marking a more intense phase of the dispute, but with the date now postponed, the legal battle is expected to drag on further.
